District
Four mayors from across the district have come together to endorse Carole Pratt, sixth district candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates. Wytheville Mayor Trent Crewe, who announced his support of Carole this morning, is joined by Mayor Clayton Davis of Narrows, Mayor Benny Skeens of Dublin, and Mayor Jeff Worrell of Pulaski.
Said Mayor Crewe, “I’ve known Carole for many years. I first came to know her through her economic development efforts. She is a gifted, hard working, dedicated servant of the people who has not forgotten the modest roots from which she’s come. She is well known statewide as a consensus builder, and someone who gets the task accomplished. She is exactly the kind of independent thinking, common ground seeking, intelligent representative we need working for us on the state level.”
“I am so proud to receive the backing of these outstanding public servants,” said Carole. “I have long admired their records of public service and we share a deeply felt commitment to our communities. I look forward to continuing to work with them to support local businesses and bring more high quality jobs here to Southwest Virginia.”
