Bill and Peggy Pratt

We have always known Carole to be a dedicated worker. As a student in school, she always excelled. We watched as she entered the Medical College of Dentistry where the class of freshmen was 120 students― 119 males and 1 female. On graduation day 89 received degrees and she received a standing ovation!
Carole has given decades of service to the community― free dental work from her office, as well as many free clinics.
She has spent many hours helping to bring new industries and jobs to the New River Valley.
She is a fighter for what is right, and she will work for the interests of the 6th District if you will support her.
Even if Carole was not our daughter, we would vote for any candidate who has the work ethic, experience, education and commitment that she exhibits.
That is why we support her!

Capone

My name is Capone and I am a bulldog. Let me tell you why I know Carole Pratt is the best choice for delegate from Virginia's 6th House District. Carole has often taken me for walks and waited patiently as I looked into the wonders of fallen leaves or spider webs, and she lets me make friends with cute children without rushing me. She lets me chew mulch and then just before I swallow it, she fishes it out of my mouth. When I am thirsty from a stroll on a hot day, she shares her water with me. When I am good, she gives me a doggy treat. When I act silly, it makes her laugh. When she thinks I am sad, it makes her sad, too. She listens when I talk and she tries hard to understand.

These characteristics are important to dogs and to people, too. I am too young to vote, even in dog years, but I ask you to vote for Carole Pratt on November 3.

Nancy Rader

"Carole Pratt has never met a stranger. She is an energetic, intelligent, compassionate lady who is devoted to the needs and well being of the people of southwest Virginia, and I’m proud to call her my friend. Her background in the field of medicine (dentistry) and economic development has given her the knowledge and experience needed to serve the Sixth District in the Virginia House of Delegates. Jobs and health care are on the minds of everyone in this area and Carole has the determination and ability to work with delegates on both sides of the aisle to bring jobs to our area and to make improvements within our health care system. Carole is the one we can trust to serve and improve the economy and health care needs of the great people of southwest Virginia."

Rosa Lee Nuckolls

"I am supporting Carole Pratt because we have a lot at stake here in this election. Over the past seven years, we have moved Virginia forward by creating a well-trained work force. Carole will work hard to ensure that our most precious resource, our children and grandchildren, will have the same opportunity that I have had to live, work, and raise their children in our beautiful mountainous region."

Donia Eley

"My introduction to Carole was as a mother seeking a way to introduce my young sons to dental care without frightening them. Because of her, Hunter and Brook were never afraid to go to her office to be told that one had perfect teeth while the other needed lots of help to make his teeth straight! Carole Pratt and Rick Mansell and their extended family have been stalwart supporters of this family as we have experienced some very sad and dark days. It is my belief that Carole will be this region's champion in every way that she can because she is one of us. She has the history, the knowledge, and the love that it takes for a region and its people to make an impact. I encourage you to give her a chance to make a difference in our lives."

She is clearly the best qualified person for the job."

Our Summer Intern- Ashley Graham

Our fantastic summer intern, Ashley Graham, is our supporter of the week. Ashley was an invaluable resource and always brightened the office over the course of the summer. We wish her luck as she returns to college.

Ashley will be a senior at the University of Richmond this fall and is majoring in both journalism and political science. She was a member of the Young Democrats club in high school and is currently involved with the Young Democrats at UR. She interned with the Democratic Party of Virginia and the Campaign for Change last fall and has enjoyed interning with Carole this summer.

“I was happy to have the chance to intern with Carole because I believe she will serve the interests of Southwest Virginia well in Richmond. I think it is important for young people to get involved in the political process, and I cannot think of a better candidate for them to support. Carole is very devoted to the youth of this area and will work hard to help them get educations and find or create jobs in the area.”

She is also involved with her church. Linda has known Carole for a long time, and is supporting her because "I know the values that were instilled in her as a young person," said Linda. "Her community, her family, and her church taught her the qualities of hard work, honesty, and compassion at an early age. I admire her for her quick mind and dedication to the region, and I know she is someone who truly wants to make the lives of the people around her better."

Jeannette Sheffey

"Carole is the type of person with the ability to relate to all kinds of people― Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. She understands the concerns of middle-class families and workers, and the difficulties they are facing. When I first became active with the Democratic Party, Carole was one of the first people to welcome me and help me find a role that suited me. Carole has always been so good at taking care of people, helping them find their way, and making them feel comfortable."
