As I ask for your vote today, I make you one campaign promise.
I will never forget where I come from.
I’ll never forget the farm where I grew up.
I’ll never forget the public schools that gave me my education and prepared me for college.
I’ll never forget the public university system that trained me to be a health care provider and allowed me to earn my dental license.
I’ll never forget the patients I cared for in my family dental practice or the men and women I help treat at the Remote Area Medical Clinic in Wise for whom a free clinic is their only access to health care.
I’ll never forget our friends, neighbors, and family members who are out of work through no fault of their own.
I’ll never forget the folks I’ve spoken with during this campaign, at festivals, VFW halls, volunteer fire houses, and by knocking on your doors.
I’ll never forget our young people who selflessly gave their time as interns and volunteers to help out with our campaign and who deserve an opportunity to live, work, and raise their families in our communities.
I’ll never forget the values my parents instilled in me: hard work, faith, integrity, and accountability.
I will never forget you.
